Alexander Zverev reached the final at Ultimate Tennis Showdown 2

With yesterday's success in the crucial Sudden Death Quarter over Felix Auger-Aliassime, Alexander Zverev had the privilege of being able to choose his semi-final opponent in the second edition of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown at Patrick Mouratoglou's Tennis Academy. The decision should be made between Richard Gasquet, who has so far performed exceptionally well at this exhibition event, and Corentin Moutet - one of the great French youngsters' hopes.

The German chose Moutet - and should do everything right. Because Zverev started the match well and was able to secure the first quarter quite clearly with 17:12. Then, however, the seventh in the world rankings made a small mistake and had to accept the "quarter compensation" at 10:12. Zverev was not deterred by this, with the same result as in the first quarter, the 23-year-old took the lead, with 13:11 in the final quarter, the Hamburg player secured the victory.

Auger-Aliassime was again waiting in the final

Alexander Zverev is now in the final of the second edition of the Ultimate Tennis Showdown. Felix Auger-Aliassime will now be waiting again, who was not allowed to choose his opponent, but was still able to beat Richard Gasquet 3-1. The endgame is scheduled for tonight.

Despite the strong playful achievements for Alexander Zverev, there is a downside. After being asked about his short-term cancellation of the bett1Aces during the post-match press conference, he declared the press conference over and must accept some criticism today.
