Wimbledon: Becker against Stich, Kerber against Lisicki - the biggest German duels

German successes have not been uncommon since Boris Becker in Wimbledon, German duels in the late rounds of the tournament certainly are. Before the match between Jule Niemeier (Dortmund) and Tatjana Maria (Bad Saulgau), there were only two other German quarter-finals in the Open Era (since 1968) - and one legendary final.
