Novak Djokovic continues to lead the ATP world rankings with 12,030 points: Although the Djoker has not been able to gain anything as defending champion, the gap to Rafael Nadal with 9,850 points is still relaxed. So relaxed that Djokovic will spend his 311st week at the top of the world ranking on March 8th, surpassing Roger Federer's all-time record (310 weeks). Federer himself had only broken Pete Sampras' record (286 weeks) in 2012. /

New third: Melbourne finalist Daniil Medvedev (9,735 points), relegating Dominic Thiem to fourth place. Due to the corona regulation, Thiem keeps his counter from the previous year's finale and thus remains at 9,125 points. Roger Federer , who has not participated in the tournament for more than a year, remains fifth (6,630 points). Behind: Stefanos Tsitsipas (6,595 points) in front of Alexander Zverev (5,615 points).

Biggest winner: surprise semi-finalist Aslan Karatsev. He made a jump of 72 positions and ranked 42nd for the first time among the top 50 in the tennis world.

Best Germans after Zverev: Jan-Lennard Struff (37th) and Dominic Koepfer (71st).

Best Austrians after Thiem: Dennis Novak (102nd), Jurij Rodionov (152nd) and Sebastian Ofner (169th).

Naomi Osaka is only second in the world ranking despite two majors

Ashleigh Barty is still somewhat surprisingly in the lead among women. The Australian also benefits from the Corona regulation that you can hardly lose any points, you can only win. Barty is at 9,186 points ahead of the new world number two, Melbourne winner Naomi Osaka (7,835 points) - a somewhat confusing picture, after all, Osaka currently has two major victories (US Open, Australian Open), Barty none (but still the points from her 2019 French Open victory).

Behind them are Simona Halep and Sofia Kenin. Serena Williams made up three places and is now seventh.

Australian Open finalist Jennifer Brady is meanwhile the biggest climber: She wins eleven places and is now in 13th place.

Best German: Angelique Kerber (23rd) and Laura Siegemund (54th).

Best Austrian: Barbara Haas (151st).
