In the meantime, nothing has changed at the top of the women's class. In the special COVID-19-related ranking system, Ash Barty remains the points for her previous year's triumph on the Bois de Bolougne in the ranking, so she continues to lead the WTA charts. The first pursuers remain Simona Halep and Naomi Osaka, the first change can only be reported in fourth place. Here is Sofia Kenin, who moved up two places with her entry into the finals.

Kenin is followed by Elina Svitolina and Karolina Pliskova, who, with a drop of two places, recorded the greatest negative development within the top 10. Back among the ten best women in the world is Petra Kvitova, who moved up three places to eighth. Kiki Bertens and Serena Williams complete the top 10 for women.

Siegemund and Podoroska make it into the top 50

Outside of the top ten players, it is appropriately the name Iga Swiatek, who ensured the greatest positive development at the top of the world rankings. The 19-year-old surprise winner marched up 37 places. Swiatek now ranks 17th on the WTA charts. Seven places behind Swiatek is now Germany's number one, Angelique Kerber, the Bremen woman dropped two places.

Nadia Podoroska made the biggest leap within the top 50. The Argentine played sensationally from qualifying into the semi-finals and was able to make up 83 places. Podoroska is now in 48th place. Laura Siegemund is also back in the top 50, who jumped 16 places up with her entry into the quarter-finals at the Stade Roland Garros.
