In his active career, Andre Agassi was mostly happy when he shared the court with Petr Korda: There were eight matches between the two veterans who had long since retired, seven of which went to Agassi. Only in 1991 in Canada did the Czech, who has lived in the USA for many years, keep one step ahead.

Now Sebastian Korda, the now 20-year-old son of Petr, had the pleasure with Andre Agassi. The youngster posted pictures of a training session with the old master on Instagram.

Korda loses to Nadal in Paris

What that means? Not sure yet, at least not for the interested public. After his active career, Agassi has worked as part of a coaching team, for example with Novak Djokovic or most recently with Grigor Dimitrov. Even if never as a full-time trainer on the ATP tour.

Sebastian Korda, in turn, made a name for himself in autumn 2020: in Roland Garros he reached the round of 16 as a qualifier, in which he lost to Rafael Nadal. And at the end of the season he won his first Challenger tournament in Eckental. At the moment Korda is at position 118 in the ATP world rankings.
