Andy Murray loses with cramps at the Rafa Nadal Challenger

Andy Murray lost his round of 16 at the Rafa Nadal Open in Mallorca. The former number one in the world was defeated by the Italian Matteo Viola 6: 3, 4: 6, 6: 7 (3).

The 31-year-old had to serve three times in the third set. In the match ball in the tie break of the third set, he served a double fault against number 240 in the world rankings.

The Briton had to be treated twice in the decision set. Apparently he suffered from cramps in the thigh, and his hip should not have caused any problems for him.

"I need to get better physically. I'm glad I played two good matches," said Murray after the game.

It was Murray's third tournament since his single comeback after hip surgery last January.
