Jurij Rodionov (ATP No. 131) reached the quarterfinals at the ATP Challenger tournament in Biel, Switzerland.

Rodionov beat Italy's Francesco Forti 6-4, 6-4 and now meets the winner of the match between Otto Virtanen and Daniel Cukierman.

Rodionov is second seed in the $118,000 tournament behind local hero Dominic Stricker.

Max Neuchrist, however, missed the leap into the round of eight - yesterday he lost to Liam Broady 4:6, 5:7.
