ATP Challenger Bratislava: Stebe misses last sixteen against Novak
Cedrik-Marcel Stebe has missed the round of the last eight at the ATP Challenger 110 tournament in Bratislava, where he would have met Austrian Dennis Novak. The Munich could not follow his two compatriots Peter Gojowczyk and Yannick Maden because of a defeat against Norbert Gombos in the second round.

Of the six six players from Germany and Austria qualified for the main draw in Bratislava, three are still in the running in the round of 16 of the € 114,800 ATP Challenger tournament. On Thursday in the Slovak capital after the wins on Wednesday by Dennis Novak (ATP 124) against Alexei Popyrin (ATP 96) , as well as Yannick Maden (ATP 117) and Peter Gojowczyk (ATP 122) Cedrik-Marcel Stebe (ATP 167) unsuccessful. In the second round it will therefore be for Novak on Thursday not to duel against Stebe, but to match against the local heroes. In addition to this round of 16 final match, the Stuttgart Maden meets on Thursday on the 22-year-old South African Lloyd George Harris (ATP 99). The Munich Gojowczyk gets to do it with Ilya Ivashka (ATP 142) from Bulgaria.
Hanfmann excreted in Uruguay
Yannick Hanfmann (ATP 183), meanwhile, was the only German-speaking starter to miss the round of 16 at the ATP Challenger 80 tournament in Montevideo (Uruguay). The professional from the TennisBase Oberhaching lost against the 19-year-old Brazilian youngster Thiago Seyboth Wild (ATP 235) with 5: 7, 6: 4, 3: 6.
