Philipp Kohlschreiber had to withdraw in Prague

Kohlschreiber had defeated his compatriot Mats Moraing in two sets at the beginning and went into the strong event in the Czech capital as number four. After his WO victory, Vrbensky waits for the winner of the game between Elias Ymer and Tomas Machac.

It is not yet clear whether the task in Prague will affect Kohlschreiber's participation in the US Open. The veteran is still listed in the USTA's latest entry list as one of those players who will fight for the second Grand Slam title of the year from August 31st.
