Like Filip Milosic, Sebastian Ofner is in the quarterfinals of the Challenger Tour

Filip Misolic opened the Austrian Challenger Round of 16 at the clay court tournament in Split, Croatia. The Austrian had a hard time in the duel with the Swedish qualifier Elias Ymer. After a hard 3:10 hours of play, the Grazer finally prevailed 4:6, 7:6 (6), 7:6 (1) against the older of the two Ymer brothers. In the quarterfinals, Misolic will face Australia's Marc Polmans, who kicked off Austria's Jurij Rodionov.

A few hundred kilometers to the west, Sebastian Ofner also fought his way into the last eight - the Styrian is also involved in the event in the Spanish capital Madrid, which is also endowed with 73,000 euros. The fifth seeded Austrian defeated the German lucky loser Henri Squire 7:6 (6), 6:1. However, the next task will be much harder for the 26-year-old from Bruck an der Mur, as the title favorite from Argentina Pedro Cachin is now waiting.

An ÖTV player is also in action at the Challenger 75 tournament in Leon, Mexico this week: Vienna's Max Neuchrist, who is ranked seventh in Central America, plays against the Chinese Bu Yunchaokete in the round of 16 in the night from Thursday to Friday. In round one, Neuchrist prevailed in three sets against the American qualifier Christian Langmo.
