In the final of the 88,520 euro tournament, Moraing defeated the eight seeded French Hugo Gaston in just 45 minutes with a surprisingly smooth 6: 2, 6: 1.

The 29-year-old from Helge-Schneider-Town Mülheim an der Ruhr won his fourth individual victory on the ATP Challenger Tour with the victory in Tulln. In the new ranking he will move back into the top 200.

Moraing had taken the local hero Lucas Miedler out of the tournament. From an Austrian point of view, Dennis Novak and wildcard holder Filip Misolic came the furthest into the quarter-finals. Misolic had beaten the top seeded Marco Cecchinato, among others.

The doubles competition was won by the German-Italian pairing Dustin Brown / Andreas Vavassori with a 7: 6 (5), 6: 1 victory over Rafael Matos / Felipe Meligeni Rodrigues Alves
