Shortly after the ATP calendar was published by the end of the year , the men's organization made two more reports. The ATP Finals should take place without fans this year in view of the corona pandemic, unless the situation around the virus changes dramatically in the coming months.

They still hope to be able to hold the tournament in front of at least a few spectators, but they are currently planning an event behind closed doors, according to the ATP. One wants - if the tournament can be played in front of fans - to orientate oneself on pliot projects of the British government.

In addition, the ATP announced that Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Dominic Thiem were the first three players to buy their tickets for the year-end finale on the Thames. For Thiem it will be a return to the place of one of his bitterest defeats: Last year, the Austrian was only inferior to the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the tiebreak of the third set in the final .
