ATP Gstaad: Novak and Hanfmann meet in round one
Dennis Novak and Yannick Hanfmann were drawn against each other at the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Gstaad. A rendezvous with one of the favorites beckons the winner.

Hanfmann is coming to the Swiss mountains in good shape: Most recently in Bastad, the German reached the semi-finals in Bastad, where he lost outright to Federico Coria. For Dennis Novak, it's also about finding your way around the high altitude - next week Austria's number two will be playing in Kitzbühel at the Generali Open. Hanfmann reached the final there last summer. As in Gstaad in 2017.
The winner of the game between Hanfmann and Novak beckons a meeting with Casper Ruud. The Norwegian was also able to convince in the current tournament week and won the title in Bastad.
The Canadian Denis Shapovalov is in first place ahead of Roberto Bautista Agut in Gstaad. Ruud and Bautista Agut are also expected in Kitzbühel.
