ATP Marrakech: Final! - Erler and Miedler are still on the move

Austria's double figureheads Alexander Erler and Lucas Miedler are in their second final in 2023 after winning the ATP World Tour 500 tournament in Acapulco: The Tyrolean and his Lower Austrian partner defeated in the semifinals of the ATP World Tour 250 clay court event in Marrakech, the US-French duo Maxime Cressy and Albano Olivetti scored 6-2, 7-6 (1) after 76 minutes of play.
Which pairing will be waiting for Erler/Miedler on the other side of the net in the final still depends on two games that are to be played today. First, Marcelo Demoliner (Brazil) / Andrea Vacassori (Italy) and Sander Arends (Netherlands) / Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi have to play out their quarterfinals before the winning duo meet the Indians N. Sriram Balaji / Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan in the subsequent semifinals.
