ATP Masters Monte-Carlo: Rune and Mouratoglou - once off, now on again?
Patrick Mouratoglou and Holger Rune had actually ended their collaboration. However, there seems to be a revival at the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Monte Carlo.

Anneke Rune wasn't very interested in her son Holger's Sunday afternoon training session in Monte Carlo. In the meantime, Ms. Rune preferred to talk to a few acquaintances - also because she knew that Holger was in good hands. Namely with Patrick Mouratoglou. Moment! Wasn't there something? Wasn't it said just a few days ago that the intended three months of working together had turned into six - but that it should stay that way?
Well: Apparently Holger Rune offered himself to the French star coach at least once more (or vice versa?), maybe also because Daniil Medvedev was on the other side of the net as a playmate. The Russian is also a regular at Mouratoglou's academy, which you could easily reach by bike from Monte Carlo.
Djokovic as a peacemaker
Rune and Medvedev could also play a role in this tournament for the German-speaking aces. The young Dane would be Dominic Thiem's second round opponent in the event of a win against Richard Gasquet. And the duel Alexander Zverev against Daniil Medvedev could materialize in the round of 16.
At the same time, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic were busy with the, in the broadest sense, Mouratoglou protégés. Murray struggled with Sebastian Baez, while Djokovic drew the most attention from the autograph hunters. And has apparently already acted as a peacemaker in the past few days. Because a joint photo of Holger Rune and Stan Wawrinka was rather unlikely after the two previous duels in Paris-Bercy and most recently in Indian Wells. As is Patrick Mouratoglou's return to the training ground next to Rune so quickly.
