ATP Masters Paris Bercy: Alexander Zverev with a good draw on Medvedev's half, Djokovic before the quarter-final duel with Rublev

The last ATP Masters 1000 event of the season is coming up. All eyes at the highlight in Paris Bercy are befittingly on Novak Djokovic, who will play his first match in the French capital after his bitter final defeat at the US Open. The Serb was given a bye in round one of the Rolex Masters, Marton Fucsovics or Fabio Fognini could wait in round two, possible third-round opponents would be Nikoloz Basilashvili or Gael Monfils. In the quarterfinals, Andrey Rublev or Cameron Norrie are the most likely opponents.

Medvedev and Zverev with a good draw

The number two of the tournament, Daniil Medvedev, was given a bye in the first round like all eight top seeders. In round two, the 25-year-old is waiting for the winner of the duel between Ilya Ivashka and Albert Ramos-Vinolas. Possible third-round opponent is compatriot Aslan Karatsev, in the quarterfinals Jannik Sinner and Pablo Carreno Busta are possible opponents. The world number two is on the same half as Alexander Zverev.

The German Zverev, who starts the race as number four in Paris, meets the winner of the duel between Dusan Lajovic and Mackenzie McDonald in Rudne two, in round three Grigor Dimitrov could wait. Possible opponents in the quarter-final are Casper Ruud and Diego Schwartzman. In the semifinals there could be a clash with Daniil Medvedev. Zverev's compatriot Jan-Lennard Struff starts against a qualifier or lucky loser, and the Warsteiner could meet Hubert Hurkacz from Poland in round two.

Tsitsipas on half of Djokovic

Number three in the tournament is Stefanos Tsitsipas, who got an extremely uncomfortable draw. The Greek meets the winner of the duel between Lloyd Harris and Alex de Minaur in round two, in round three Roberto Bautista Agut could wait. Possible opponents in the quarter-final are Hubert Hurkacz, Felix Auger-Aliassime and veteran Andy Murray. Tsitsipas was drawn on the same half as Novak Djokovic.

Andy Murray has to deal with a qualifier or lucky loser in the first round, in the second round Felix Auger-Aliassime could wait for the number nine of the tournament. A possible third-round opponent would be the Pole Hubert Hurkacz, with whom the Scot had already faced several times this season. Matteo Berrettini, on the other hand, canceled his start in Paris at short notice, the Italian failed on Friday in the quarter-finals of the ATP 500 event in Vienna to Carlos Alcaraz.
