Stefanos Tsitsipas is still up for grabs: The Greek, who qualified for the ATP Finals in London since the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai, showed a concentrated performance at the start of the final 1000s of the year in Paris-Bercy, defeating Talyor Fritz 7: 6 (3) and 6: 3. The match only lasted 73 minutes and Tsitsipas did not miss a single break-ball, using one of the two chances his opponent gave him. Last week, the Greeks had advanced to the semi-finals in Basel, but lost there against Roger Federer smoothly. The Swiss is missing in Paris.

After the match Tsitsipas said in an interview with Sky that he was not quite fit. He would have felt cold symptoms, but no fever. On the other hand, he would never have retired at a tournament. And he wanted to keep that in Paris-Bercy. Tsitsipas will face either Roberto Bautista-Agut or Alex de Minaur in Thursday's Round of 16 on Thursday.

A few minutes before the end of the Tsitsipas game Denis Shapovalov had his opponent Fabio Fognini with a 3: 6, 6: 3 and 6: 3 from the tour operation 2019 adopted. The Canadians get it in the round of the last 16 to do with Alexander Zverev, who had had no problems on Tuesday evening with Fernando Verdasco. For the German number one, this is not a bad prospect: Zverev has won all three previous matches against Shapovalov.

Dominic Thiem, who was able to prevail in the second round after a thriller against Milos Raonic, plays in the second round against Grigor Dimitrov The Bulgarian defeated David Goffin 7: 5 and 6: 3. After four matches against each other the balance of Thiem and Dimitrov is balanced.
