Will Félix Auger-Aliassime finally win the first tournament?

It is quite possible that Jannik Sinner and Félix Auger-Aliassime will run into each other on Sunday in Melbourne Park. Both have final commitments before the first major of the year starts on Monday with the Australian Open. Sinner, however, will compete against compatriot Stefano Travaglia in the final of the Grand Ocean Road Open, while Auger-Aliassime has to face Daniel Evans at the Murray River Open. The pressure on the Canadian is great: Auger-Aliassime has already made it to the finals of an ATP Tour tournament six times, but he couldn't win any of them.

Sinner did better at the end of last year in Sofia. Goes into the encounter with Travaglia with the mortgage of a marathon against Karen Khachanov: The South Tyrolean won 7: 6 (4), 4: 6 and 7: 6 (4), but needed a playing time of 3:04 hours. Travaglia Monteiro won against Thiago Monteiro without any problems 6: 3 and 6: 4.

However it goes on Sunday, neither Sinner nor Auger-Aliassime will have time to regenerate: Both have to play at the Australian Open on Monday. Then the Italian Denis Shapovalov is waiting, Auger-Aliassime meets Cedric-Marcel Stebe.
