ATP Munich: Krawietz wins home with Koolhof

Kevin Krawietz and Wesley Koolhof have won the ATP Tour 250 tournament in Munich. The German Davis Cup player and his Dutch partner defeated the two Belgians Joran Viegen and Sander Gille in the match tie-break.

Krawietz and Koolhof were in first place in the tournament at the MTTC Iphitos, defeating Marcelo Melo and Mischa Zverev in two sets in the first round as well as Matthew Ebden and John-Patrick Smith in the quarterfinals. Krawietz and Koolhof survived the semifinals without a fight because Yannik Hanfmann was unable to compete alongside Dominik Koepfer due to a neck injury.

In the final against the two Belgians Viegen and Gille, Krawietz and Koohlhof won 4: 6, 6: 4 and 10: 5.
