ATP Newport: Sebastian Ofner is defeated by Kevin Anderson in round two
Sebastian Ofner had to admit defeat to Kevin Anderson in the second round of the ATP 250 tournament in Newport in two sets.

Second round for Sebastian Ofner at the ATP 250 event in Newport: The Styrian lost in the second round to Kevin Anderson 5: 7 and 6: 7 (3). Ofner had a chance of a surprise, but ultimately the Wimbledon finalist of 2018 kept his nerve and thus solved his quarter-final ticket.
Ofner had initially played his way through the qualification at the lawn tournament at the Sports Hall of Fame and initially won against Yasutaka Uchiyama in round one.
The seeding list at the traditional ATP Tour 250 tournament is headed by Alexander Bublik in front of Sam Querrey.
