It won't be as crowded as it is here in Paris-Bercy this year

"I heard that Paris should take place rather than not. That also applies to London," said Dominic Thiem after his dramatic quarter-final against Diego Schwartzman in view of the remaining tasks in the current season. At least from the French side, the confirmation came a day later: The tournament in Paris-Bercy will take place despite the corona pandemic.

As with the current Grand Slam event in Roland Garros, 1000 spectators per day should also be allowed in the east of the French capital. Of course, the health policy guidelines of the authorities will be adhered to, according to the French tennis association.

The prestigious indoor tournament will traditionally take place again this year immediately after the ATP 500 event in Vienna. From October 31st to November 8th, the best players in the world will win the tournament. Defending champion in Paris-Bercy is Novak Djokovic.
