Roll backwards: While the official "Tournament Detail Sheet" initially mentioned a tournament behind closed doors , the last ATP Masters 1000 event of the year takes place in front of spectators. The organizers in Paris-Bercy will be able to welcome 1000 spectators in the hall per match day - but only in the day session.

Due to the current exit restrictions in some major French cities, residents of the metropolis of Paris are only allowed to leave their own apartment after 9 p.m. for valid reasons. Therefore, the night sessions in the Bercy district will take place without an audience - the same applies to the qualification.

Semi-finals and final with spectators

No fans will attend the prestigious indoor tournament in the evening up to and including Friday. From the day of the semi-finals onwards, the games will only take place in one session - so 1000 spectators will be allowed in both the semifinals and the final.

The tournament in Paris-Bercy will traditionally take place again this year immediately after the ATP 500 event in Vienna. From October 31st to November 8th, the best players in the world will win the tournament. However, defending champion Novak Djokovic will not be there .
