ATP Tokyo: Kyrgios after comeback victory in the quarterfinals
Nick Kyrgios has reached the quarterfinals of the ATP Tour 500 tournament with a three-set win against Kamil Majchrzak.

Kyrgios lost the first set against Majchrzak 3: 6, but then didn't let anything burn with 6: 2 and 6: 2. For Kyrgios it is the first appearance since the US Open, where he failed in the quarterfinals against Karen Khachanov. In Tokyo, the quarterfinals will face either Taylor Fritz or local hero Hiroki Moriya.
Frances Tiafoe and Miomir Kecmanovic are also in the last eight. Tiafoe won against Bernabe Zapata Miralles 6-1 and 7-6 (7). In a thriller, Kecmanovic beat Daniel Evans 6: 3, 3: 6 and 7: 6 (4). Evans already served for the match, but could not bring the victory to the finish.
Kyrgios also has a match in doubles today: alongside friend Thanasi Kokkinakis, he faces Pedro Martinez, who also reached the quarter-finals in singles, and Bernabe Zapata Miralles.
