ATP Vienna: Schwartzman sure continue, Berrettini is shooting opener
Good start for the seeded players at the ATP-500 event in Vienna. Both the fifth-placed Diego Schwartzman and the number three of the tournament Matteo Berrettini are in the next round.

Everything as usual in the Wiener Stadthalle. Naturally, especially on the first days of the tournament in the Austrian capital, things are always extremely tight and the year 2019 should not be an exception, at least on the first main field day.
Although the 6: 4 and 6: 4 success of Diego Schwartzman might sound obvious at first, the whole story is far from being told. The Argentinian lost 2-4 in the first set before securing the next four games and thus the very first round of the 2019 edition of the tournament in Vienna.
The second section was then a little less turbulent, Schwartzman took him also with 6: 4, thus fixing the entry into the second round. Thus, the 27-year-old also kept his low hopes for participation in the ATP Finals alive. Currently the Gaucho ranks 14th in Race to London.
