ATP world ranking: Roger Federer only in 7th place

After not appearing in Rotterdam, Roger Federer must give up a place in the new ranking. Nothing changes for Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem.

Federer lost 500 points from his Rotterdam victory in the previous year - at that time he had crowned himself the oldest in the world rankings. The Swiss is now only in seventh place. Novak Djokovic continues to lead the ranking with 10,955 points, followed by Rafael Nadal, Alexander Zverev, Juan Martin del Potro, Kevin Anderson and Kei Nishikori. Dominic Thiem remains in eighth place.

Rotterdam winner Gael Monfils (from 33 to 23) makes a nice jump, Grigor Dimitrov is only in 31st place, Stan Wawrinka after the Rotterdam final with 41st place again in the top 50 in the world. New York winner Reilly Opelka ranks 56th - his best ever.

The best Germans: Alexander Zverev (3), Philipp Kohlschreiber (33), Jan-Lennard Struff (54), Peer Gojowczyk (60), Mischa Zverev (65) and Maximilian Marterer (95).

The best Austrians: Dominic Thiem (8), Dennis Novak (157), Sebastian Ofner (175) and Jurij Rodionov (191 - a career high).
