Novak Djokovic is now alone at the top of the list that records the weeks at number one in the world rankings for men (and also women). The Serb has greeted an incredible 378 weeks from above - and a replacement is mathematically conceivable. However, if you look at Djokovic's performances since his return after the US Open, the man from Belgrade is by far the best player in the world.

Which of course Boris Becker also sees that way, who not only commented on his ex-protégé Djokovic to Eurosport, but also on Alexander Zverev and Andy Murray.

So Boris Becker...

...378 weeks Novak Djokovic as world number one: "Novak Djokovic is breaking a historic record. He has been number one for a total of 378 weeks in his career. That is an incredible achievement. I never thought that this record could be broken , and as a compatriot I would of course have wished that Steffi (Graf) continued to be the all-time leader, but as I'm also a close friend of Novak's I'm not too unhappy either, Novak is a fantastic guy and a great one Champion, records are made to be broken.

...the fitness of Alexander Zverev: "I saw Sascha Zverev in Trier (at the Davis Cup) and was actually impressed by his physical resilience, his fitness, his physique. I think he's back to 100 percent. Now it's done Of course it's about match practice, about tournaments, about the so-called match fitness, which of course you don't get in training. He just needs patience - these are the tough weeks and months now. I hope that he'll have played enough matches by the clay court season to be back to get back to his old form, but that could happen as early as next week.

...Andy Murray: "I would like to say one word about Andy Murray: AMAZING. I didn't think that he would come back so physically strong after his hip surgery. How he brings his opponents to their knees, mostly over three Sets, while playing good tennis, also against Daniil Medvedev in the final - it's amazing where the Briton has made it again. And if he continues like this, I'm looking forward to Wimbledon. I'll look ahead: if he does the next tournaments keep going like this and keep winning matches, then he'll be back on par for his favorite surface - and that's grass!"
