In sport, Bernard Tomic has been hearing little positive for a long time. In the current TP world rankings, the Australian is exactly at number 200, in the 2020 season Tomic has not yet reached a main field of an ATP tournament. Most recently, in the second round of the Challengers from Monterrey against Aleksandar Vucic ended. The trip to Mexico had consequences for Bernard Tomic: He is currently self-isolating in Miami.

That's what Australia's former number one told The Herald Sun newspaper. Tomic believes that he was infected with the Corona virus on the way from Monterrey. “I haven't felt right since Tuesday,” said Tomic. “I was short of breath and my immune system was getting weaker and weaker. I have to be tested first, but I have all the symptoms. ”

He did not know when he could get out of his isolation and take a test, Tomic said. But he had one piece of advice at hand: "People should take this very seriously, especially at home in Australia."
