Buenos Aires: Galan and Lebron - First the number one, then the title
Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron won their ninth title on the World Padel Tour 2022 at the tournament in Buenos Aires. And already secured the number one ranking at the end of the season.

Alejandro Galan and Juan Lebron do not usually go to a padel court to reach an ordinary quarter-final. At the tournament in Buenos Aires, however, moving into the last eight also meant prematurely reaching number one in the rankings of the World Padel Tour at the end of 2022 It will be the fourth time in a row that Galan/Lebron have wintered as industry leaders.
And so that the long journey to the Argentine capital was really worth it, the two world's best players also took the tournament victory as Buenos Aires with them. Galan and Lebron defeated Arturo Coello and Fernando Belasteguin in the final 7:6 (4) and 6:2 and thus won their ninth championship this season.
Coello and Belasteguin started the event as number three, and with a strong final sprint in the final tournaments, they are able to displace Sanyo Gutierrez and Augustin Tapia from second place in the world rankings.
Before the Masters, which will take place in Barcelona shortly before Christmas, there are tournaments in Mexico City (this week) and Menorca this year.
