First, Vasek Pospisil put his Canadian side 1-0 in the lead after a 7-6 (7) and 6-4 win over John Millman, who replaced Nick Kyrgios, before Alex de Minaur scored after a high-class match against Denis Shapovalov : 6, 6: 3 and 7: 5 victories could balance.

So the double between John Peers / Jordan Thompson and Shaovalov / Pospisil had to bring the decision. The Canadians stayed cool and won 6: 4 and 6: 4. In particular, Pospisil showed an impressive idea.

After defeating Lleyton Hewitt-coached Australians, Canada will go to the finals on Saturday. The opponent of the North Americans is determined in the match between Serbia and Russia.
