Alexander Zverev will lead the German team in September

Team boss Michael Kohlmann and top player Alexander Zverev will be able to live well with this lot: Because with the teams from France, Belgium and Australia, opponents will come to Rothenbaum in Hamburg between September 14th and 18th, 2022, against whom the German team has good chances of success.

With the French, of course, there is always the question of who is going to the Bütt. Gael Monfils, number 21 in the world, is currently the best-ranked player, followed by Ugo Humbert in 45th place. Belgium could come to Hamburg with David Goffin as the top man, with Australia this would be Alex de Minaur as world number 24.

Is there a top game between Djokovic and Nadal?

In Group A, the hosts Italy meet Croatia, Argentina and Sweden in Bologna. In Group B, the Spaniards will host Canada, Serbia and Korea in Valencia. So there could be a top meeting between Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic. Finally, in Group D in Glasgow, Great Britain, USA, Kazakhstan and the Netherlands will play out the two quarter-final places at stake.

As is well known, defending champion Russia was excluded from the current competition by the ITF. The final round with the eight best teams is scheduled for November in Malaga
