Cheers in Turin: The Italian Davis Cup team is already in the quarter-finals of the team competition. After the success over the USA on Friday, the home side also won against Colombia on Saturday. Lorenzo Sonego (6: 7 (5), 6: 4 and 6: 2 against Nicolas Mejia) and Jannik Sinner (7: 5 and 6: 0 against Daniel Elahi Galán) ensured clear relationships and the associated quarter-finals even before the double .

Previously, the Australians had prevailed 2-1 against Hungary in Turin. Alex de Minaur put John Millmans 7: 5, 2: 6 and 7: 6 (2) success over Marton Fucsovics to 1: 1 after the opening defeat, before John Peers and Alex Bolt remain victorious in doubles in three sets. In Innsbruck, however, Great Britain and Germany won. Michael Kohlmann's team will face Austria on Sunday after the surprising 2-1 win over Serbia, led by Novak Djokovic.
