Andy Murray has made it exciting again

Without drama, Andy Murray can not seem to go: The former world ranking first opened for Great Britain against the Dutch number two Tallon Griekspoor with a nearly three-hour marathon, the Murray finally with 6: 7 (7), 6: 4 and 7: 6 (5) decided for himself. Moments later, Novak Djokovic was also the winner of the court - but with 6: 1 and 6: 2, the second point for Serbia. Filip Krajinovic had previously defeated Yuichi Sugita with 6: 2 and 6: 4.

After a lengthy injury-related break from playing on the ATP tour, Murray will only play as British number two in Madrid. The team leader against the Netherlands is Daniel Evans, who is dealing with veteran Robin Haase in the second match of the day. Great Britain did not have to qualify for the finals, but was considered as Argentina by the Tennis World Federation ITF with a wildcard.

He was relieved, Murray explained after the match. Actually, he would not deserve the victory. But he had fought, but it had been difficult. Because he knew nothing about his opponent. The atmosphere, however, was fantastic. That was his great concern because of the neutral venue. But if it continues until the end, he likes the event.
