Davis Cup: Rodionov gives Austria a 1-0 lead against Pakistan
Jurij Rodionov won the first game of the Davis Cup match between Austria and Pakistan. Rodionov defeated Muhammad Shoaib 6-3 and 6-1.

The Austrians went into the encounter with Pakistan as clear favorites, especially since none of the guests' individual players have an ATP ranking. It is not surprising that Rodionov was able to win 6: 3 and 6: 1 in Tulln without any problems.
In the second singles, Filip Misolic now meets Muzammil Murtaza.
