Ten matches, ten wins, 20-0 sets, not a single tie-break. The numbers for Emma Raducanu's run of success in New York couldn't be more impressive. In view of these almost unbelievable "hard facts", the US Open winner of the previous year, Dominic Thiem, was also impressed.

"For me, this is one of the greatest achievements in women's sport. It was an incredible journey, you just have to look at the numbers," the Austrian told Omnisport . "We have probably never seen anything like this before," said the world number one.
