With more than 70,000 spectators, the Erste Bank Open in Vienna was once again a complete success

Record attendance with more than 70,000 visitors in the Wiener Stadthalle and at Erste Bank Open 2 Go on the premises of the Wiener Eislauf-Verein am Heumarkt, exciting and thrilling matches at the highest level and a supporting program with the best entertainment value - the Erste Bank Open 2022 earned its reputation more than fair as a unique tennis spectacle. Public interest in the ATP 500 event, which is worth almost 2.5 million euros, remains high. Even before Daniil Medvedev had sealed his tournament win against Canadian Denis Shapovalov in this year's final, a veritable run of ticket reservations for the 49th edition of the Erste Bank Open from October 21 to 29, 2023 began.

The organizers have taken this development into account and will start tomorrow, Thursday, December 1, 2022, with the official ticket sale for next year's tournament. "After a great demand for tickets for 2023 during this year's tournament, we are already starting advance sales and thus earlier than ever before," explains tournament director Herwig Straka.

Bid for light in the dark

This year's Vienna finalist Denis Shapovalov carried his strong form from the Stadthalle into the season finish and last week in Málaga (ESP) won the coveted Davis Cup trophy for the first time with the Canadian team. "We congratulate Denis and his teammates on this great success, which will certainly give him a lot of impetus for the coming season," said Straka.

The organizers of the local tennis highlight are also doing their bit for a good cause this year and have made an attractive exhibit available for Licht ins Dunkel for the ORF Sport am Sonntag auction. You can bid for an exclusive doubles match against sports commentator Oliver Polzer and ZIB moderator Tobias Pötzelsberger as part of the Erste Bank Open on Saturday morning, October 28, 2023, on the Center Court of the Wiener Stadthalle. Also included are two VIP tickets for this day and overnight stays for two people from Friday to Sunday in the tournament hotel Vienna Marriott.

Tickets for the Erste Bank Open from 21 to 29 October 2023 are available in five categories at prices between EUR 39.00 and 129.00 via the,,www.
