Both Otte and Marterer left nothing to be desired in the qualifying final. Otte defeated Hugo Dellien, who was seeded in twelfth position, 6: 2 and 6: 0. Before that, he had not made a sentence either against Pranesh Gunneswaran or Danilo Petrovic.
Marterer also made short work of it. The left-hander defeated Felipe Meligeni Rodriguez Alves 6-2 and 6-1.
On Friday, Peter Gojowczyk and Tobias Kamke still have the chance to follow suit. Kamke meets Denis Istomin in the duel between the veterans, Gojowczyk plays against Mario Vilella Martinez from Spain.
