Another big drama for Jo-Wilfried Tsonga - and what a drama! On the one hand, the Frenchman fought a really big sporting fight against Casper Ruud. In the end, however, the shoulder suddenly stopped working - Tsonga had to be treated before the tie-break of the fourth set. Jo-Wilfried Tsonga had tears in his eyes before Ruud's first match point when the Norwegian was 6-0.

Ruud accepted his opponent's congratulations at the net, but then liked to take a back seat. And applauded the now tennis pensioner with the spectators in the fully occupied grandstands on the Court Philippe-Chatrier.
