Alcaraz won his late shift on the opening day of the French Open 2022 against Juan Ignacio Londero 6: 4, 6: 2, 6: 0 and is thus in the second round.

The match was only balanced at the beginning, up to 4:4 both players brought their service games through. But then Alcaraz struck, after the 2-2 in the second round he was the only one who played and didn't allow his opponent to play anymore.

Londero was then praised by sportsman Alcaraz, who also confirmed his love for Roland Garros in an on-court interview with Alex Corretja: "I watched the tournament for so many years when I grew up," said the 19 -year-olds.

Alcaraz meets Albert Ramos-Vinolas, currently number 42 in the world, in round 2.

Alcaraz made his big breakthrough in 2022, after his title in Rio de Janeiro he also won the Miami Open, the ATP tournament in Barcelona and the Masters event in Madrid.
