French Open draw: Djokovic and Zverev in same half, Thiem starts against Dellien

The Roland-Garros 2022 draw has flushed the biggest favorites into the top half. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal and also Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz could meet in the quarterfinals. Dominic Thiem starts against Hugo Dellien.

Novak Djokovic could meet Rafael Nadal in the quarterfinals of the 2022 French Open. That was the result of the draw on Thursday in Paris. In the first round, the defending champion from Serbia meets Yoshihito Nishioka. Alexander Zverev was also drawn into the top half, starting against a qualifier. In the quarterfinals there is a risk of meeting Carlos Alcaraz.

Stefanos Tsitsipas could be the big winner of this draw. But right at the start he has to deal with the dangerous Italian Lorenzo Musetti.

Dominic Thiem was drawn into the second quarter and starts against the Bolivian Hugo Dellien. The Bolivian is currently 87th in the ATP charts.
