Before the match, Eurosport expert Boris Becker once again quietly criticized and mocked Zverev's style of play, who was too far behind the baseline. You have to keep developing," stressed Becker. His colleague John McEnroe also warned that if Zverev did not move a bit further and closer to the baseline, he would "stand still" in his development.
