After all: Khachanov was the first player in the current tournament to take more than five games from the industry leader. Mikael Ymer, Ricardas Berankis and David Elahi Galan were unable to do this for three sentences. How strong Novak Djokovic is these days, however, was particularly evident at the beginning of the third set: Khachanov caught up with a 2-0 deficit and even had the chance to take the lead with a break. Djokovic not only fended off all of his opponent's breakballs, he got Khachanov's serve to 4: 3 in the following game. And then again to the final score of 6: 4, 6: 3 and 6: 3.

The result does not reflect the course of the game, Djokovic generously stated after the match. It was very difficult, especially since he had problems with his serve.
