More than 1,500 participants have applied for the Cupra Born, in the end an Upper Austrian is allowed to drive it from the Center Court in Kitzbühel. Moment! Not so fast! Because Moritz Gruber is only 16 years old, but he is already practicing for his driving test. The final was a test of nerves, no wonder with this main prize.

Jakob Spiesmeyer went into the game as the favorite, but the regulations gave the player with the worse ITN a 4-0 lead. And Gruber knew how to defend it with clever play, even if Spiesmeyer came back to 8:9. But then a forehand from the left-hander sailed out - and Gruber was allowed to be celebrated by the spectators in the packed stands in the Kitzbühel tennis stadium.

"I'm completely surprised and I still can't believe it," declared the overjoyed champion. The atmosphere naturally impressed him, says Gruber. Luckily he is there with mum and dad, who can drive the winning car home. Until Moritz Gruber got his driver's license.
