Niemeier didn't drop a set throughout the tournament, in the final she defeated Reka-Luca Jani 6-2, 6-2.
Niemeier was seeded second at the $60,000 event in Croatia. In round 2 she had played against compatriot Eva Lys, who, however, had to give up for Niemeier when the score was 3-0.
For Niemeier, it is the fourth title at ITF level after tournament victories in Kaltenkirchen (2019), Leipzig (2020) and Prague (2021).

Jule Niemeier: "Cracking the top 100 for the first time makes it even more special"
"Leaving with a title is always a great feeling," wrote Niemeier on Instagram after her victory. "But cracking the top 100 for the first time makes it even more special." Along with a thank you to your team.
At the beginning of last year, Niemeier moved to Michael Geserer's BeTennisBase in Regensburg, and recently she has been training there with Christopher Kas . The victory in Zagreb is the first tournament success for the two.
Coach Kasi was also happy. Especially since the success on the court was crowned by an outside one: Apparently, Niemeier also cleared the raffle on site.
If it works, then it works.
