Jurij Rodionov receives a wild card for Erste Bank Open

At the Erste Bank Open in the Wiener Stadthalle, at least two other Austrians will be represented in the main competition alongside the figurehead Dominic Thiem. After Dennis Novak, the current ÖTV number three, Jurij Rodionov, also received a wild card for the first round. The two international wild cards went to world number one Novak Djokovic and Italian Jannik Sinner.

The Austrian contingent could increase even further, with Lucas Miedler (against Lorenzo Sonego / ITA), David Pichler (against Aljaz Bedene / SLO) and Alexander Erler (against Vasek Pospisil / CAN), three ÖTV players Qualification at the start.

Jan-Lennard Struff is number one and even gets a bye in the first round. Two alternates made it into the draw. Two hurdles have to be overcome in the qualification. The trio will be in action for the first time on Saturday.
