The fourth win at the Laver Cup is unlikely to be taken by Team Europoe: In the Night Session, Daniil Medvedev first defeated Denis Shapovalov 6: 4 and 6: 0. Then Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas won against John Isner and Nick Kyrgios 6: 7 (8), 6: 3, [10: 4].

This puts the European team in the lead with 11: 1. In the day session, Tsitsipas had already won against Kyrgios and Zverev against Isner .

Medvedev impressed in his first individual after his US Open victory: He won against Shapovalov after 3: 4 deficit in the first set the following nine games. "I just hit everything, I'm really happy," he said afterwards.

Team World must now win all four remaining games

Team Welt can only win if it wins all four games on Sunday. According to the Laver Cup counting mode, three points are at stake here per game.

The double between Rublev and Zverev against Opelka and Shapovalov is scheduled for Sunday, followed by the single between Zverev and Felix Auger-Aliassime. Then Medvedev and Diego Schwartzman as well as Tsitsipas and Isner would face each other.
