This was announced by Gerard Tsobanian, President and CEO of the tournament, in an interview with the Spanish side abc.es./

The company is working closely with the Ministry of Health and is currently planning a 40 percent occupancy rate, i.e. 4,800 spectators in the Caja Magica.

The name of the ticket holder should be assigned to the individual seats, there are also temperature measurements in front of the entrance and a system to avoid queues and crowds. "And of course people are obliged to keep their distance and wear a mask," said Tsobanian.

The relaxed atmosphere, as usual for Madrid, will only be limited. "It will be a party, but it will not be a runaway party. We will be the first major sporting event to be held in Spain with fans. We have to show that it can be organized in a serious, controlled and disciplined manner. All of this without losing the spirit of this great sporting event and the emotions that arise when you see the best tennis players in the world live. The players want to have those emotions again, they suffer from the lack of an audience, they feel the enthusiasm of the people after a great point do not hear no applause ... "In Madrid we will now have" a great atmosphere "again.

Even if it rains and the roof is closed, the number of spectators should remain. "There is a legal safety margin." The curfew from 11 p.m. should also be taken into account, and the games should be scheduled earlier.
