Daniel Masur (ATP 255) and Antonia Lottner (WTA 161) are the new German champions. The 25-year-old from Munich and the 23-year-old from Düsseldorf won their competitions at the indoor tournament in Baden-Württemberg. The men's Masur won number two in the final, beating Hamburg underdog Leonard von Hindte 6: 1, 6: 3. “It is very nice to end the year with a title. I hope that I can take my form with me into the next season, ”said the new champion to the German Tennis Association (DTB).
In the women's final, Lottner, number two on the seed list, and top seed Katharina Hobgarski (WTA 238) had met the two favorites. The 23-year-old from the Rhineland prevailed against the Hobgarski, who has been struggling with injury problems, with 6: 1, 3: 6, 6: 3. Lottner won her second title at a German championship after 2014. “I'm really happy about the win. It's nice to be a German champion. "
In the mixed competition, the duo Anna Klasen and Hannes Wagner won the tournament in Upper Swabia.
