Rafael Nadal still injured - cancellation for Shanghai
Rafael Nadal has canceled his participation in the Masters tournament in Shanghai.

Already yesterday evening Carlos Moya's news spread that Nadal had not yet decided whether he could participate in Shanghai. On Friday morning it is now certain: Nadal will pause. The organizers announced in Shanghai. "With a heavy heart" one had to announce that Nadal was withdrawing.
The reason for this is an injury to the wrist. Nadal had already canceled his assignment on the last day at the Laver Cup two weeks ago.
"I had an inflammation on my left wrist during the Laver Cup," Nadal is quoted in a message to the tournament. "I didn't have time to recover and train to be ready for this wonderful tournament. I hope to be part of the 2020 edition in Shanghai."
This year Nadal is still on the registration list for the master tournament in Paris-Bércy and the ATP finals in London at the end of the year. Nadal had also announced his commitment to the new Davis Cup finals in Madrid from November 18-24.
