Hanfmann needed exactly two hours to assert himself against Belucci with 7: 6 (3) and 6: 4. The Karlsruher's next opponent has already been determined: it will be the Czech Zdenek Kolar.
Dominik Koepfer is also one lap further. The Black Forester managed a 7:5, 2:6, 6:1 win against Hungary's Zsombor Piros, who was ranked 13th. The next hurdle for the 29-year-old will be Argentinian Federico Delbonis - an unpleasant opponent, especially on sand.
Maximilian Marterer was eliminated yesterday against Dan Added from France.
