ServusTV is expanding its range of live tennis and has secured the exclusive free TV rights for the men's event at the Hamburg European Open (July 12th - 18th). The TV broadcaster is thus following up on the acquisition of rights for Roland-Garros, the MercedesCup and bett1open and is extending the tennis summer 2021 at ServusTV Germany. The license rights apply to all distribution channels for 2021 with the option of an extension for two more years.

For the 115th time, the Hamburg European Open will take place at the Rothenbaum facility in Hamburg. The tournament was held for the first time in 1892, making it one of the oldest in tennis history. "We are very pleased to be able to include one of the most traditional tennis tournaments in our program with the Hamburg European Open and to present our viewers with another highlight event this summer," says David Morgenbesser, Head of Sports Rights and Distribution at ServusTV.

From July 12th to 18th, the TV broadcaster will show the top game of the day, as well as the semi-finals and the final of the ATP 500 tournament live and exclusively on free TV. The games and additional highlight clips will then also be available in the ServusTV media library.
